This grave marker which is at Maple Grove Cemetery,
located at 535 Hudson Street, Hackensack, New Jersey reveals
that Edward J. Harry served in the U.S. Army during World War I. 

His date of birth and death were covered by dirt from over the
years and it was winter and ground was too frozen to clear away.

Edward J. Harry was not on the Original Honor Roll List, which was
in The Evening Record October 5, 1918, but this confirms his
connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders
since passing and forevermore.

The grave marker confirms Edward J. Harry service for which we are grateful.
